Denise Janowiak

Denise fought a warrior’s battle against uterine Leiomyosarcoma with many ups and downs for 3 1/2 years. Despite 4 major surgeries, 7 different chemotherapies, radiation treatment and one clinical trial, there were eventually no viable treatments left.  If there were more options, more research, and more studies then this outcome could have been different. Because of the rarity of this disease, the funding and treatments are limited. 

 Denise constantly impressed those around her with her positive attitude, her joy, her love of life, her strength, and her generous nature.  She can be described as many things; mother, wife, daughter, veteran, nurse, businesswoman, entrepreneur, traveler, but most importantly Denise would want to be remembered as a loyal and dedicated family member and friend.

 She is survived by her loving family, including her husband of 23 years Vincent Janowiak; parents Donna and Larry Lambert, siblings Larry and Dennis and their spouses; her four children Corrine Mayer, Ayla Sherman, Jeffery Lambert, and Eric Alderman and their spouses; and her ten grandchildren Rhianna, Alaina, Felicity, Ryan, Mila, Devon, Davin, Archer, Malakai, and Quinn.
